WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY UPDATES
After the PICC Bridal Fair last January 14 & 15, we are about to fill our wedding photography schedules for the months of March, June, July, September & December of this year 2012. We encourage, that for those considering our company, to contact us with your wedding dates and make early confirmations.
We have also revised our packages to include one that would have Joachim Bondoc in a supervisory role during your wedding instead as a main photographer. - Unobtrusive wedding photojournalism are sample pictures of real weddings. The intention is to show the natural beauty of the subject and the means by which the mood is captured.

We were just informed a couple of weeks ago that Studio IX will cease operation in the middle of next year. We will miss our friend in the wedding video industry.
But there is a bright side in this story. All employees and resources of Studio IX will be taken in by JEFF ALCANTARA VIDEOS. Jeff is currently the editor and studio manager of Studio IX and we look forward to work with him in the future.

JOACHIM BONDOC PHOTOGRAPHY WEDDINGS
Conceptual reportage wedding photography. There’s nothing like it in the world. There are many photojournalistic and stylistic approach around but this one is very different because it is driven by cutting edge ideas. The shoot objective is for the album, not just one picture. It’s actually a BOOK! A book that would say something about the couple and bring back the emotions they had during their wedding day. Something that they would return to again and again. We develop cutting edge ideas and that’s what drives us. Our oath is never to repeat the same concept, ‘True Concepts’.
During the wedding, nothing is halted just for the shot. It is our job to get the image while things happen. We capture the soul of the moment. It is more important than staging a pretty picture. The emotions that surround us during a wedding should present a better, if not a great picture. It inevitably brings out the true character of the couple. ‘True People’.
Nowadays, we are flooded by post processed images. We still believe that a photographer should do most of the work behind the camera and reserve post processing for those that are impossible during the click of the shutter. We do post processing for clients that want a little weight loss/gain, minor facial cleansing, minimal enhancements and other surreal tricks (but only if necessary to deliver the message). We cater more to those in need of ‘True Pictures’.

PHOTO BOOKS
We don't just take pictures, we plan each wedding to produce a book. Guestbooks, wedding books, and brag books are well thought of that make each one different. They all reflect each couple's personality and taste. We should also impress you with our delivery time, our record is 4-days for a printed book. Delivery is dependent on printing and binding but final artworks are usually submitted in 2-3 days.

JOACHIM BONDOC TAKES OVER STUDIO IX PHOTO DIVISION
Last weekend, Joachim Bondoc Photography officially takes over the still photography division of Studio IX. Now you will have 'Cutting Edge' concepts & images for your wedding album by multi-awarded photographer Joachim Bondoc.
Joachim's dedication for high quality and meaningful imaging means that he will personally handle each aspect of the production process from pre-production to the actual shoot and finally to post-production of the final artwork.
Studio IX is now a dedicated MOViE production company. The wedding videos they produce will be movie like in nature. Concepts will be in the direction of Joachim's vision with personal direction by Mr. Benigno 'Benny' Aldaba.

We have redesigned our website to provide simpler navigation and accomodate more images for your pleasure. Please accept our apologies for any difficulties that you may encounter during this Beta version. One of the current errors we are encountering is the slideshow animations embeded on the Home page and the intro of the Bio page. TUTORIAL RESCHEDULED
We apologize for the inconvenience. The Practical Shooting Basic Photography Tutorial at (proposed location) Mexico, Pampanga will be moved to June 4, 2011 instead of May, 28, 2011. Tentatively, we are setting the meeting place in the Quezon City area. Transportation, meals and necessary workshop materials will be provided.

The Triangle
IN PHOTOGRAPHY
The triangle has been interpreted in many different ways. It represents the trilogy that makes all existence possible. Generally, it stands for the union of two to create a third. In our case,
Science + Art = Photography.
The triangle is the most aesthetic and most interesting shape in photography and design. It is the symbol of ideal proportions.
OF THOUGHT
The triangle of thought is based on certain foundations. Each thought process is comprised of historical facts and hypothetical predictions that lead to one single idea or decision. Every individual photograph should deliver that single message and the principles that brought it to being.
